Greg has a B.S. in Microbiology/Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University, is a co-author on microbial enzyme research and was a team leader in growth hormone research. His biomedical research background was beneficial when investing in healthcare companies throughout his investment management career. He has over three decades of analyzing and investing in growth and value companies across a range of sectors including consumer goods, healthcare, industrial and technology. He received many 5-Star awards for earnings estimate accuracy when publishing equity research. He managed teams of equity analysts and portfolio managers on both the buy-side and sell-side and drove 10x plus growth in two different investment firms based on his investment decision acumen. His focus on corporate strategy, management execution and future value assessment brought him to consulting for small private companies. As a consultant, Greg’s work and advice was key to PHILTER receiving its first significant institutional investor. As a member of the PHILTER team, Greg’s unique skillset has been invaluable in corporate strategy, financial oversight, partnership negotiations, and investor communications.
